Back in 2013, Shapee® Founder Eaugene & Fion came across an idea to help modern ladies look good and feel confident by introducing Shapee® modern shapewear. After doing an intensive market research, they realised that traditional shapewear was far too expensive with old-fashioned design and not many modern ladies can afford to buy a shapewear. Therefore, Shapee® introduced modern shapewear which is designed to slim, smooth, and lift the bodyshape without compromising comfort or style for the modern woman. Clean lines, exceptional comfort and fit, uncompromised quality – this is what makes Shapee® the ultimate in modern shapewear industry.
Shapee® has actively participated in beauty fairs and baby fairs and successfully helped modern ladies and postnatal mummies lose inches effortlessly. In 2014, Shapee® expanded its distribution channel to Watsons Malaysia (400+ outlets) to further reach out modern ladies in Malaysia. In 2015, Shapee® was awarded by Watsons Malaysia’s HWB Award for the ‘Most Wanted Women & Men Slimming Wear’. In the same year, Shapee® was selected as one of the top 20 finalist in Alliance SME BizSmart Challenge 2015.
Fion is a mother of 3. Despite being unsuccessful in breastfeeding her first two daughters, she persisted and successfully breastfed his youngest son for 38 months. She developed a strong interest in baby and maternity industry over the years. By understanding breastfeeding mums deeply, Eaugene & Fion decided to launch breastfeeding and maternity products with the vision to bring joy, innovation and knowledge through every motherhood journey in September 2016. By December 2017, Shapee® has successfully penetrated into 100+ independent and chain baby stores in Malaysia. Shapee® seamless nursing bra was awarded by BabyTalk Reader Choices’ Award 2017 for the ‘Best Seamless Nursing Bra’.
